Your questions
I'm not comfortable with my voice…
Nobody is! Read calmly, as if you were telling a story to someone you love. A small hesitation doesn't matter: what we keep is your timbre, not your mistakes. You can listen to your recording and start over as many times as you like before sending it.
Will it really sound like me?
Yes: your timbre, your accent, your way of speaking. For the best result, record in a quiet room, phone close to you. If the result doesn't satisfy you, reply to our email: we'll redo it.
What happens to my voice?
Your recording is used only to read this story. The voice created from it is deleted as soon as the story is ready, and your recording within 30 days. It is never used for anything else.
Can I record someone else's voice?
Only if that person records themselves, live, on the recording page, and agrees to it (Grandma or Grandpa can do it from the link). Old voice messages or videos can't be used.
